1st place · CIBC × Ivey Digital Innovation Challenge · CIBC Square
An open brief from CIBC: find a new banking opportunity. We surveyed 105 Canadians and found one gap: how people share money has changed, and banking hasn't kept up. Our team opened the final pitch at CIBC Square with a teammate's phone ringing on stage, on purpose. Specifics stay under wraps.
IDIS Sprint 2 · Built for SAS · 2026
A route-level collision-risk tool for auto underwriters, who normally price the driver but not the road. Our team built it in about three weeks and kept it fully explainable through Canada's National Collision Database, so every risk signal traces back to public data an underwriter can defend.
National winner among 60+ teams · Holding Complexity Award.
A national challenge on Canada's housing crisis. Our team framed it as a handoff problem, mapping the seams between systems where no one is structurally responsible. We won the award for sitting with the tradeoffs instead of forcing a clean answer.

A two-week case on Adobe's agentic AI for predictive customer journeys, focused on Metrolinx. We built the strategy to balance personalization against compliance and trust, and presented it at PwC's Toronto office.

A paper-run rescue had no way to track overdue vet visits or where donations went. We modeled it end to end: a Barker-notation diagram, a 20-table MySQL database, 6,000+ rows of synthetic data, and the managerial questions, plus the SQL to answer them.
